Welcome to Untamed #5, a 'Rivals of Aether'-Tournament for players from Europe, held 31. 07. 2016 at 4:00 PM CET, hosted by the 'Rivals of Aether: Europe' Steam group and Discord server.

Untamed #5 is a bit special in the way that we are having one centralized stream, including commentators and hopefully lots of hype. The event will be streamed here.

This is done as somewhat of an experiment this time and based on how this event will turn out we will be considering doing the same for coming tournaments.

If you are able to stream your games, please contact OddBod. We entirely rely on people streaming their games, preferably through Steam or Twitch, so please consider doing so if your connection speed and PC can handle it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a 'Rivals of Aether'-Monthly Tournament for European players, held at the last weekend of every month, either Saturday 8 PM or Sunday 4 PM CET  (UTC: +1:00). Do not forget to check-in, starting 30
minutes before the start of the tournament! You need a Challonge account to register, check-in and report the score of your sets.

The Monthly will be organized by OddBod and co-moderated by ERR and Marbles ( and Yehooo for this specific event). Please contact any of us using Steam or Discord in case any problem might occur.

Make sure to resemble your Steam name with your name in the bracket. It's mandatory to hang out in the 'Rivals of Aether: Europe'-Steam group chat while the tournament is running to easily find your opponents, report problems or just casually chat.

Rules and Guidelines:

  • Double Elimination
  • Bo3 Sets, except for Top8 being Bo5 Sets
  • Stage selected by striking between all 7 starter stages Game1 (higher seed strikes first), then the loser of the previous game counterpicks with the opponent getting to ban one stage
  • The loser of a game can change his Rival freely. The winner must report a potential character change to his opponent
  • Game crashes are reviewed on a case by case basis with the compromise solution being remaking the game completely. It's reportable when it happens more than once
  • When your opponent is not responding for more than 10 minutes or if you encounter unbearable lag during a match, report it to a TO. We will look into the problem
  • This tournament is 100% seeded, based on the results of our weekly tournaments

Good luck and have fun!
